One of the leading education group in Abu Dhabi is looking for Senior Accountant.
1. Prepare and submit the schools annual budget and periodic forecasts to HQ finance in a timely manner.
2. Ensure all invoicing tuition fees, exam fees, trips, and other charges is completed accurately and on time. Regularly follow up with parents for payment collection.
3. Issue receipts daily to ensure accurate bank reconciliation, and provide bank statements with receipt numbers to HQ finance for cash clearing.
4. Handle supplier payments accurately and promptly, ensuring proper vendor reconciliation.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Degree in Accounting
2. Accounting certifications are a plus CPA, CA, CMA, CFA, etc.
Minimum Experience:
1. 8 plus years of experience in a finance function, or a professional qualification with 5 plus years of experience in a similar role.
Job-Specific Knowledge and skills:
1. Strong knowledge of advanced accounting principles.
2. Excellent communication, presentation, and administrative skills.
3. Proficiency in accounting software Oracle, SAP, etc.
